I wonder
what falling leaves
chat about
on their journey
to nestle the earth
for the winter months.

Slowly layering together
they nurture
precious new life
they will never see.

Letting go.
Not giving up.
Covering the ground
with whispers
of golden wisdom.

Fulfilling
their life purpose.

The leaves know
Spring will come again.

This is how Hope
shows up in Nature.
