I started today with tai chi at Town Lake in the rain,
moving from tree to tree just to stay dry.

Each shift gave me a new angle,
a turtle crossing the playground,
swimmers staying in the pool,
kayakers gliding like nothing had changed.

It reminded me that breakthrough
rarely comes
from pushing harder against the weather.

Intention doesn’t wait for clear skies.
It moves from tree to tree in the rain
until the view changes.
